Rubber bands and plastic bags… this takes talent. So far, every restaurant and grocery store has had an employee(s) with the gift to turn your carry-out into airtight aquariums of food and sauce. I just think this is cool :o) I need to get a hold of a stack of cellophane bags and a bunch of little rubber bands and practice.
Just a Thought...
How living in Thailand is like being an 8 year old again:
- I scrape the food off of dishes because there’s no garbage disposal
- I wash the dishes by hand because there’s no dishwasher (that’s more like being May at 6 years old)
- I hang the laundry to dry (But over here I don’t hang laundry in freezing temperatures. Because in Oxon Hill, as Tatay explains, the laundry will dry via “sublimation”)
- I cram into a 4-door sedan with 6 other people to go places
Oh! and I almost forgot...
-I eat with a fork and spoon instead of a knife and fork :o)
- Sometimes I sneak outside to smoke when people in the house are sleeping... that's more like being 16
