Geoff has made “good merit” today. His Thai language teacher (from a previous trip to Thailand) is involved in the building of a new wat (temple). After Geoff pledges money toward its construction Jack (from the Thailand company) offers a comment that goes something like, “That is very good merit. Maybe in your next reincarnation you will be handsome.”
